I am using an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 which is connected via DisplayPort to my ViewSonic VP2770-LED monitor (which is fully capable of displaying 10bit color.) It is not displaying it in this way however and because of this I can not match the colors of my prints properly. Please help!

All of my PC intformation is in my profile.

Yeah I did :( and it did let me select 10bpc and then I went to the 'Adjust video color settings' and changed that to "full range" as well even though I don't see why that would affect my print color matching.

As far as I am aware, with consumer GPU's, you can only use 10 bit color with DirectX applications. What application are you using to display/proof your images in 10 bit?

Yeah, I have checked that (and in the past the 10bpc option was available on my native resolution (1440p). My monitor is also capable of 10-bit color and my GTX 780 is the same card I had when I was able to choose 10 bpc output color depth.

    780s had HDMI 2.0 ports.

you need 2.0b HDMI to push 10bit IIRC if it let you set it, it wasnt applying i suspect buddy.

I cant push 10bit Colour @4K above 60hz with a 1080ti F.E on 2.0b despite my panel supporting 144hz on HDMI 2.1, due to GPUs 2.0b HDMI port. Even with a certified 8K HDMI 2.1 cable.
