Yeah it sounds stupid... It's just that I had tested it earlier to see how well my CPU was performing.
I was to lazy too do another round of testing with my usual settings. So I decided to give these really low settings a shot.
And well... I somehow managed to see a performance uplift.

My theory is that this new driver reduced CPU Overhead.

It seems that in addition to my latop's GTX 1080 GSync, FastSync (without GSync, also on my Desktop's 2080 Ti) are also broken in Red Dead Redemption 2 Vulkan for me with this 441.20 driver. I get tearing, even when below 60FPS, the only way to fix it is to enable in-game VSync. Going back to 441.12 fixes it for me.
Also, the 441.20 drivers cause odd artifacts when Parallax Occlusion in RDR2 is set to Ultra (look on the ground near patches of grasss when riding through muddy Valentine, for example), in 441.20 it seems fine.

    About GTA V crashes:

Then why it is perfectly stable with 436.15 (and earlier) driver? It is not considered as a modern display driver?

    Possibly.
Nvidia has said it will get critical security updates through April 2020. FWIW, Fermi never got a new driver during its one year Legacy support.

I am not sure what the cause could be but I tried it with the previous driver and did not have any problems launching or playing the game. Something about your configuration must be different from mine that is contributing to the game not launching.

This is a known issue with Red Dead Redemption 2 when SLI is enabled. This will be fixed in a future driver.

whats the 'not starting' look like, process shows in task manager for a moment then disappears? check event viewer for crash info.
process stays in task manager but never starts? analyze wait chain.

    This issue persists across 441.08-441.20.

Everything's fine when sharpening is applied via GFE.

The common element is the game not the driver.
NVidia drivers are not used on the PS4 and XBox.
NVidia didnt write the game, speak to EA.
It doesnt help to waste ManuelGs time like this.

10% loss fps in CoD MW for me with these drivers (Multiplayer).
There was a patch also yesterday, so maybe it is due the last patch but I doubt.
