GeForce Driver 180.60 BETA @ CUDA

That is just the Cuda SDK tools, you dont need that, its for the software/game developers to help them include CUDA in their software or something. So just leave that alone, you do not need it.

im currently on 180.48. i was planning on trying out 180.70, but now after reading this thread it seems people like .60 better than .70?

 

Question , and please do not bite off my head I am simply asking.

I realize that this driver , 180.60 , does not include the Physx driver in the install package so that does not need to be repeated for an answer to this question:

When I remove the Nvidia Video drivers , if I DO NOT remove the Physx first , the driver uninstaller does NOT remove them for me , SO my question is if I don't remove the Physx driver that installed with the 180.48 but DO remove the 180.48 driver can I just them simply install the 180.60 driver and still have Physx without installing the Physx driver posted by AmigaWolf (BTW thank you for the link sir) if in fact the other Physx drivers from the 180.48 drivers is still installed?

Yes you only have to remove the Geforce 180.48 driver and not the Physx driver.

got 13,335 on 3DMark 06 Advanced with the 180.48 , now I want to see what the .60 can do!!

This are one of the best drivers so far.

 

i have to say. thois morning i tried both .70 and .60, and the IQ is better with the .60's and the little micro stutters i had with the .70's is gone. so, 180.60 works best for me.

I'm sticking with the 180.60.
I barely have problems with any kind of drivers and the 180.60 aren't either.
Haven't heard to much good news about 180.70 yet so sticking with these until new drivers come out.

 

I have problems with 180.60 it says nvlddmkm stopped working when i wanne play a game.Im going to uninstall it in safe mode and try it again

 

Great drivers for me. Getting considerably less micro stutters in Fallout 3. Was able to keep my higher clocks from the 180.48 drivers. Sticking with these.

hmm, i might say, that micro stuttering is a sli related prob, if u think, i runs smoother, u should bench the game (fraps, whatever). on single-setup, u probably can see some stuttering @ 30 fps (frame drops). But again, this isn't micro stuttering...

No, in the case of Fallout3 there is a problem with micro-stuttering if you disable vsync with many drivers atm. I've had to run vsync enabled since the game came out with every nvidia driver version so far, will check these...

 

I still wish nvidia would sort out the bug where the "Show only programs installed on this computer" shows nothing.
It seems ages ago that it worked and you didn't have to wade through the list of all the profiles to find the one you wanted.

 

i changed "max pre-rendered frames " from 3 t0 2 ,forced vscyn off in nv control panel and my anoying micro stutter went away
