Okay, i've had these installed since they were released.

Today, I was playing football manager for around hour n half, ish. The screen basically turned red and the pc froze.

I quickly turned the PC off and checked inside for temps.

Everything seemed cool. i turned my PC back on, and it booted fine, used programs to chec the temps and they where all fine.

So, im stuck now, im not sure what casued this red screen, which then froze my PC.

It sounds life a GFX problem, yet Football manager is more of a CPU intensive game so it doesn't make sense. I also played Batman, Arkham City this morning for around the same amount of time and had no problems.

Anyone had this issue, or know what could be cuasing it?

lol i had that once in Rift, but only with one particular older 275.36? Quadro driver. Never seen it since.

    Regular Geforce were fine.

Did you try prefer max performance in nvcpl profile?

So its definately GFX related then.

I recently changed my GFX cooler to a Twin Turbo II on my 560 Ti.

But, temps are alot cooler than the stock, so not sure what caused it?

    Ill reinstall the drivers again

ok, try that prefer max perf. in Football manager profile, if it doesn't fix it try older 290.53.

Idk what was the deal here, i think it was 275.36 Quadro driver fault, i reverted to 275.33 and all was fine.. And like i said i never seen it since with any driver or any other game.

Although i saw one 560Ti user saying he got a green screen of death in Dirt3 (280.xx).

Yeah, I've done a clean reinstall of the drivers. Changed footy manager to max performance.

Ill reboot and try again later.

Seems strange though still! First time its happened. Makes me think its something to do with the new cooler. But, maybe just a co-incidence!

Happened again today whilst i was web browisng.

This time it wasn't as bad, had little red speckles or pixels located around the screen. Complete was reacting really really slowly. Mouse would move, but so slow i just had to turn off at the button.

Going to install the previous drivers 285 i think they are. See if this problem goes away!

TDR means Timeout Detection and Recovery function, ie, display driver has stopped responding and has recovered.

Don't worry with this error though, nvidia has corrected this issue with the release of 290 series driver and above if i recall correctly.

Thing what seems to annoy me is:

I had none of these problems before i changed my GPU cooler.

    Co-incidence?

My 560 is now running cooler than before, which is what i dont get. I didn't snap anything off or break anything on the card when changing. Plus, its random. Like i played Arkham city this morning for around 2 hours with no problem!

Except one actually, screen went black, came back on, Xbox controller i plug in to use no longer works. Only the keyboard and mouse does. Had to rrestart the game :S. Thats happened to me twice now!

That TDR error has been happening to me in every driver that nvidia has released lately. Even the ones advertised as fixing the problem (295.51) have it. Smh
