    And he's being careful not to get sued over something he says. Not surprised just the typcial lawyer :D

    The main issue i have here is preservation.

    I can go to my attic right now, and open up my 5 banana boxes full of classic bigbox games. And with a little help of the internet they all still work.

    Unless Steam, Epic, Uplay, Origin etc etc release an offline patch when they shut down, the ability to play the games you own there is taken away.

    Sure Steam has the ability to backup games, but they never work without Steam.
