    Wondering if anyone else is having this problem. Seem to have huge fps loss during cutscenes and game menu. The problem seems to be caused by crossfire for me. Using 11.6 drivers and 11.6 Cap's. As soon as I turn it off, the menu and cutscenes run fine. Sadly with crossfire on or off there is no gain whatsoever during gameplay. Hopefully there's a fix in the Cap's soon.

    I've also noticed that in crossfire both gpu's only stress up to 75 percent. And when forced to run in dx9, the cutscenes and game menu runs fine.

    The game runs fine for me in DX11 with all settings fully maxed out, only neither one of my GPU's go above 40% usage. I'm getting a constant 60+ FPS but such low GPU usage is indicative of a CPU bottleneck which is not the case for me. As with 90% of new games released, we have to wait for AMD to release a CAP profile for F.3.A.R. 3.

    I also forget to mention when running in dx9 i'm getting 20 fps more then dx11 and that's with dx11 multisample off being that in dx9 you don't even get the option to turn it on. Going from 45 fps in dx11 to 65 fps in dx9. I would think i'd get better fps in dx11 when everything is set equal in setting between the 2 but I could be wrong.

    having it drop to 30 fps from over 84 fps , thats a big drop and some of the time the flash light is the cause . also getting temps of 86c even with the fan at 62% on my 6970 , using a fan prfile in afterburner but it still runs at high temps in this game . max i get in all my games with the fan profile is a max of 74c , but in fear3 it hits 86c so not sure what is going on with it lol

    Damn, i don't think you need SUCH a powerful pc to run the game with a constant 60FPS ... I run the game at a constant 60FPS @ DX11, maxed out without AA ...

    Yes, what is up with that? I play with V-Sync and it shows 60fps but the game feels like it's running at 25fps. Some kind of jerkiness throughout the game.

    How is this game compared to Fear 1 and 2? I'm thinking about getting it as it looks like a great horror shooter.

    FEAR1 = Scary as ****.
    FEAR2 = I jumped once at the beginning of the game.
    FEAR3 = An episode of Casper the friendly ghost is scarier.

  18. same here, looks like its for both single gpu and crossfire too..wonder how the nvidia single/sli cards are running this? are they getting (what seems like to me) the engine stutter too? maybe we just need to wait for a fear 3 patch in less than a month and/or a driver from amd likely to come out around november for this game to have its issues addressed..

    Dont know why you guys can be bothered.
    the game is CONSOLITIS ****E. FEAR 1 was epic part 2 meh part 3 ****E.

    the only good thing about the game is the heavy depth when holding and firing your assault rifles.
    and there is also meny things that make the game **** but 1 thing i hate in the HOLE GAME your footsteps are way to loud..
