Found a nice app just gone into beta thought I would post here for others to test out. Site: http://www.romexsoftware.com/en-us/fancy-cache/download.html Guide: http://www.romexsoftware.com/en-us/fancy-cache/help.html I have on average 6.5GB Ram spare so thought I would test this out, my ssd is a kingston V+100 not the fastest, I gave the L1 cache 2048MB and L2 512MB. You have to have a newish mobo and CPU in the last few years to be able to use the app, read up on the help/guide page on the site to have a basic understanding of how it works. Before my ssd would read at around 140MB and write at around 80MB when it was in a good mood, only have around 6GB free on the drive. With the above settings in this app they sky rocketed to amazing speeds give it a test below is some basic results Enjoy
I would disable write caching, and only do read caching. If you lock up or hard power-off or lose power, you will lose data. -scheherazade
