No mention of the ti on evga? I'm thinking the ti might not get 6gb because the titan black has the same shader count as the ti and would cut into titan sales? The 780 is not a threat to the titan based on shader count. I hope theres a 780ti 6gb.

 

That would be a reasonable assumption. But still. I wouldn't think twice about trading my current cards for a pair of 6GB 780 Classifieds

They should have offered these cards much earlier on in my opinion, either way I'm waiting until the next major release. Being able to step up is a decent incentive for those who already own the cards, at least.

I can guarantee I've owned more Nvidia cards than you have. I buy where the performance for my budget is, period. Drop the attitude.

 

We aren't going to see the big gun maxwells anytime soon when kepler competes with hawaii as it stands now. 290 290x were released as 4gb cards exclusively just like the 3gb 780 and 780ti.

 

Makes me wish I would have bought an EVGA 780 instead of the MSI but oh well.

 

Kinda makes me with I got 780 sli now. The step up would only be 50 per card. Would come in handy at 1440. I dont think I bought the extended warranty necessary for the step up anyway.

 

My step-up period ends in 2 days, guess I'm screwed
