Hi i want to buy a second Asus 560Gtx Ti DirectCu II Top for Sli and I don´t know if my Antec TP-750 Blue is enough to support this sli. Also if the phenom x6 1055T will bottleneck the sli or if my case will have a proper airflow. Thanks

Yes your PSU is more than enough for sli. Can`t comment on the cpu as i have no experience of phenoms.

That CPU will bottleneck 2 560ti at stock cpu speed. Your 560ti is the oc edition? Will use more power than a standard vc. Link to psu as I am on my fone

900 MHz core clock vs. 820 MHz for the lowest-clocked standard 560ti I could find at Newegg.

Do you think that a 10% overclock will stress the Antec PSU?

I wonder what monitor resoultion LuciVintila intends. Wouldn't that be the main determining factor as to whether SLI is worthwile?

that particular psu has 62amps on the 12v rail. it may be enough would have to look into. but 2 560ti are going to be horribly bottlenecked by that cpu at 2.8ghz. maybe if he was running the cpu at 4ghz it would be ok.

I want to be able to play 3D at 1920x1080. I have an Asus VG236H with the Nvidia 3D glasses kit. I don´t know how to overclock the CPU. If I buy a 580 gtx will not fit in my case, is to large. If i have to change the psu, well i wait for buy a 580 gtx and a new case.

your better off with a single card with that cpu man. sell the 560ti and buy something stronger. your psu will power any gpu you choose it has 62 amps 12 v rail. look into what cards will fit in that case you have. sli is going to struggle with your cpu. 580`s are old man I would not recommend one now

The 680 is smaller than a 580 and slightly smaller than your 560ti, by that the 670 and 670ti should be smaller or the same size and should launch at the same price 580's are now. They are set to release in the next couple of months.

I doubt there's much advantage in trying for anything better in the AMD line. The top CPU in the Phenom II X6 line is the 1100T, clocked at 3.3 GHz. Your 1055 is clocked at 2.8GHz. You motherboard will support the new FX CPUs, but from what from I've read "bulldozer" isn't much of an upgrade for gaming.

The obvious upgrade would be to go Intel. An I5-2500k goes for about $220 (in the USA), and an Asus P8Z68-V LX motherboard for $125. I'd suggest a third-party CPU cooler, $30-90. That's around $400. Not a trivial sum, but you could spend a lot more than that without a significant performance gain in gaming.
