There were some teasers in AB forum section, demonstrating new 4.6.1 features in action. I'll duplicate them here in case somebody missed it. So here it is:

Please take a note that only 100% NVIDIA reference design dual fan control implementations are supported, third-party proprietary asynchronous fan control solutions (e.g. EVGA iCX series asynchronous fans) are not supported and will not be supported in future versions.

 

MSI Afterburner's built-in skin engine, compiler and decompiler allow you to modify any built-in skin rather easy. You may decompile that skin and either manually change color scheme for desired images or apply new bitmap effects to it to let the compiler to alter colors automatically (e.g. by applying hue effect). To do it:

- Decompile the skin using the following command line:

MSIAfterburner.exe -ds MSIModern,te6Xfjz3

- Edit the skin header (this plain text file will be located in .\Skins\MSIModern\header) after successful skin decompilation. Add the following to the header:
- Add new effect for altering colors for any image inside the skin. To do it add the following section to the header:

[BitmapEffect.NewColor]
Hue = 125

- Apply the effect to desired images in the skin, for example edit skin base image defininition inside [Bitmaps] section and replace

BMP_BASE = SkinBase.png
with

BMP_BASE = SkinBase.png,NewColor​

- Do the same for all images you want to convert to different color scheme.
- Compile modified skin using the following command line:

MSIAfterburner.exe -cs MSIModern

Done!​

 

I've got a report that thermal priority button is rendered improperly with new skin on graphics cards supporting thermal prioritizing feature (ancient GTX 600 - 900 series cards):



It will be fixed in the next version of skin.

 

That depends on skin, some skins provide such design, for example this one:
