It looks like the newest release of the Intel INF Utility has just been released: Intel INF Update Utility 9.2.0.1030 http://guru3d.com/news/intel-inf-update-utility-9201030/ My question is this: I am running an ASUS P6X58D Premium motherboard with Windows 7 Ultimate SP1. When I initially installed the system, I used Intel Chipset Device Software version 9.1.1.1025 My question is do I need to update my machine to the latest one just released? If yes, do I uninstall the old one first and then run this new one, or should I just do it on top of the old installation? All advice is appreciated!
There's no need to upgrade, if it aint broke, then don't fix it. But you can install them straight over the old ones to answer your 2nd question. No worries there.
