STILL runs for like 15-20 mins for me, then crash's.... Have sent log files, only heard "crickets" on the Corsair Forums...

I think most people's experience with Corsair Link is

    1. Install
    2. Wow, look at all the cool options and visualization. This software is amazing, just what I needed.
    3. 20 minutes later, hmm why can't it see/control 2 of my fans?
    4. Re-install several times, scour forums for help. Link software keeps crashing and/or loses all your settings. You still can't see all your fans.
    5. Uninstall and use mobo BIOS fan controller.

"Mechanical hard disks may not enter sleep state. (Workaround scheduled for next release.)"

This... is really annoying. I'm pretty sure it affects my RAID volume too. Hope it comes soon.

can't update to the newest version, the installer crashes, so does the deinstaller for my current version.

It never worked right, it's unreliable, caused more than a few BSOD's, all in all 100% uselss. Don't even consider installing.

I was happy if I could deinstall it. Need to rip it out and clean by hand, what a mess.

    Device used, AXi-1200

HMMM I have never had a problem with the program. Use it to switch between quiet when not gaming, to performance when gaming and to monitor general overall system. It is such a small program don't know why Corsair can't bring it up to snuff for everyone's use.

    Waaaah !
Finally the "ghost" readings from my X99 motherboard are gone.
It was "detecting" fans that don't exists and showing 0 or 30 rpm (obviously false), temp sensors which were showing arbitrary values...

Seems to work fine otherwise, at least on my PC.

ahhh, almost 20K post and you havent heard about (OS) imaging software (which removes the need to uninstall/install of software/drivers),
when "you" know your dealing with something that might cause trouble? ok.

i didnt experience any trouble, incl older version, but only used it to change settings on my H100i, then uninstalled.
even that i do have glass case and like (limited) lighting, im not 12 anymore and need to change the color every 5min.

Installed, updated the firmware and uninstalled.

Just buy Argus Monitor, it does the job wonderfully:

Much better than any BIOS fan management.
LINK support is awesome, works like a charm.

I'm a fan (intended pun) of Argus Monitor too. Awesome software fan controller!
