This is great news for PC gamers. We might just get more games with better quality.
And to think that a decade ago, there were so many companies saying that investing on the PC market was bad because it was full of piracy.

I'd settle for treating PC the same as the other platforms, but this is good news. What will come of it, however, remains to be seen.

Then start making proper games for it instead of your half assed pc ports as usual.

In return I give you the absolute state of Dead Rising 3, Dead Rising 4, Resident Evil 4 (Original one, remember that crap show? No native mouse support.), Monster Hunter World...

And now that Capcom sees PC Gamming as it's main platform, these things might just take a turn for better.

Excellent news. Capcom has had some of the best PC ports out there. DMC, RE, Street Fighter, Most of the Dead Rising series is good with tweaks, and Monster Hunter series as well are all very good ports.

Dead Rising 3 and 4 can be fixed with tweaks, but true we shouldn't have too. And the original RE4 on PC was only published by Capcom, it was passed on to Ubisoft who did the actual port.

    EDIT:

Actually after some digging, it was developed by Capcom, published by Ubisoft, and ported by a company called SourceNext.

They also did earlier version of RE2,3, Onimusha, and RE4.... Thankfully they were dropped after RE4.

Consider this, just Windows 10 alone has over 1 billion users and with every copy of Windows coming bundled with solitare and every PC running windows 10 can run facebook games and other flash and java games. The PC platform was originally the largest install base of any gaming platform, now mobile has taken it over its number 2 ;)

PC gaming is far from dead. In fact it takes all consoles together to beat it in revenue.
But the big king now are mobile games.

I've never understood people wanting to play on mobile devices - it's cancer.

Because its quick, its easy, it appeals to people that wouldn't sit down for hours at a time to grind through the latest MMO or narrative driven epic. People who travel a lot to and from work on buses, trains, planes, etc. Its the same thing that got a lot of people into the Nintendo Wii. It was a terrible console with some of the worst shovelware ever. But it was easy to understand, so it appealed to a more mass audience.

I agree. But some people are into this.

Last year I was selling a Dual Shock 4 that I wasn't using much. Posted an online ad, and found a buyer.
We set up a place and time, and meet in person.
I thought she wanted the controller to connect to a Playstation or a PC.
To my surprise, she wanted it to play COD on a mobile phone.
I didn't even know you could do that.
So her test to see if the controller was good, was to take out her phone and connect the controller via bluetooth and play the game.

    of course you can
and it's a super convenient way to play too.literally anywhere, though I mostly find myself playing on the couch.

I got a poco x3 (not the best but for the price it's an awesome entry level mobile gaming phone),an 8bitdo sn30+ with a smartphone clip and a pair of w830bt headphones that last literally forever on battery.all brand new, cost me 240eur altogether.

Sometime ago I was looking into that controller. In part to connect to my PC, and also to play on the Switch.
If it can connect to a phone, that's a nice extra.
You just gave me some food for thought.

    for the price it's awesome
for pc and android is seamless,it charges quickly, lasts long enough (30h iirc) and it's super light and comfortable

but it's a mobile controller imo,if you want one for pc get an xbox/dual shock.

i went with thrustmaster eswap x for my main pc controller eventually, only used the 8bitdo until I have done some research on premium controllers, and I take a long time for that.I hardly ever make impulse purchases.
