this is a hard one... its either... Life of Agony playing London on their return show or Stuck Mojo doing the same last friday
Anyone who saw Coldplay at Glastonbury 2002 would agree that was absolutely incredible....... also Muse at Glastonbury 2004. It would be amazing to see Page and Plant! -- if only they would do some gigs again.
This might sound a bit narcissistic, but the best show I've ever been to was a show I played in about 3 years ago. It was my joke punk rock band called The Lampshades' first and only show. We got wasted, made fun of the other bands, gave away prizes (which included, but were not limited to: a mop, some pom poms, and a book entitled "Chub Club: You Don't Have to be Thin to Win") and we also smashed a guitar into our singer's head, and sent him to the hospital. He was bleeding pretty bad. Words fail to describe the general debauchary. You just had to be there. Here's a couple pics though from the show that have been on the website for ages. Up front is the man who's head got smashed. I'm in the background. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v246/gilbo/Untitled4.jpg And here is the man that did the smashing: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v246/gilbo/Untitled6.jpg
best gig I've been to was a concert with some very good local metal and punk bands...but I'm gonna go to a VERY big festival with Apocalyptica, Slayer, Slipknot and numerous other GREAT bands and it's probably gonna replace that one I mentioned...
hmmm thats a tuff one. i'd say either this show i saw on halloween with system of a down and slipknot. or the merry mayhem tour i saw with rob zombie and ozzy
I've been to a Metallica concert in June 2004. That was just great. Korn and Slipknot were also there btw.
i dont know if this counts, but at glastonbuty 2004 it was pi$$ing down with rain, really muddy and me and my best mate wen to see simon and oscar from Ocean colour scene play an acoustic set. They were outstanding. and even stevie craddock was there as well. we were at the front row too. The rain was so heavy outside the roof of the tent ripped open in spots and some of the crowd got tottally soaked. Was a sweet 1 1\4hours of my life
Iron Maiden Megadeth Metallica Guns'N'Roses AC/DC Def Lepard Then maybe half dozen festival weekends, saw tons of bands there, tool, incubus, green day, Korn, Lenny Kravitz etc........ hell and more, just can't remember Iron Maiden's tour 'somewhere on tour' ,mid 80's was the best of them all, I was 15 and my cousin 14, what a blast.
Hey Fallen__Angel19 I was there too! But I was watching from the beer tent opposite of course. As our sodden table collapsed under us, I noticed a rainbow in the sky. Ahhh... was a good accoustic set.
