I still use the 19.7.1 version from last year because i updated it to adrenaline 2020 back in january and it gave me big performance drops and stuttering, should i stick with this one or is there a better one?

    Thanks in advance

Are you gaming on Vega 8? Or do you have dedicated GPU?
If you game on Vega 8, then latest compatible driver which is 20.5.1. It is WDDM 2.7 "enabled" and you should move to Win 10 2004 to get all benefits.

Why? New drivers have RIS. My best guess is that it works even with iGPUs. It does not eat a lot of performance to have it enabled. But it improves visuals nicely which may well compensate for need to reduce details with integrated graphics.

New driver has (from my POV unfinished) Radeon Boost which reduces internal rendering resolution when movement is detected.
(I hope AMD adds fps target, and makes it universal for all games in time.)
This function may help you too.

Is win 10 2004 a must for the latest driver?
