ATI + Nvidia PhysX configurations are banned with newest drivers

You'd miss them if all the ATI cards doubled in price though.

Not likely anyway, AMD have alot more financial problems than Nvidia at the moment.

 

yeah i wont be going back to nvidia. esp now as ati has won the single-card performance crown back!! (that's a wind-up btw )

i was sure i was gonna have to rma cos the 5870 would sound like a hair dryer or be a toaster. very very impressed with ati. they realeased something thats as cool as an nvidia card. on average mine has been cooler than my old 295 by a good 10-15c.

whilst i was pushing 85c in Empire total, the 5870 hasnt gone past 70c and with 35 percent fan speed. joy! (shame the drivers dont work hehe)
