disclosure: i've bought a lot of ROG over time. but i'm more of a fanatic for build quality which often leads me there, so i'm not a fanboy. now this product is squarely aimed at folks like me who need a pc when on the move. i've bought every generation of gaming laptop since it's been a category. and every single one was MSI or ROG because they were less chunky than Alienware. this looks like the ultimate version of the M$ Surface... so i really need Hilbert on this one because i'm reminded of the two evil twins of the Surface type - heat and noise. i know that the next gen (desktop) will be shipping during this release but portables always lag 10-18 months behind desktops and if the heat and noise issues are resolved i'd buy one of these.
