yeah either 10900k or 10700k for me. Id go Ryzen 5800x but then Id like to keep my RAM which is DDR4 3000Mhz so going 10700k seems to be my least expensive upgrade path
Just unlocked all cores it runs 5000Ghz boost no OC needed for me. Stock it does 4700Ghz. advisable water cooling. but the processor at is own is not realy a big step behind the 10900k one so it will do for now. Better wait for a new intel one that support the PCI-E 4.0 I guess. Now it is mainly AMD that does support the 4.0 PCI-E version
Yeah right but if you gonne upgrade it's common sense to go for 10900k because of the more cores. I'n my case the upgrade to a 10900k would be a little gain and not worth the money https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i9-9900K-vs-Intel-Core-i7-10700K/4028vs4070
Thanks, Ill try for a 10900k then as first option then a 10700k it all depends on what the wife allows too
Well the wait is over and I am now a 3080 owner and I love it, such an amazing card https://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/details/ex767
Cool and unexpected (still 6000 is a solid GPU). Now that you've seen the numbers, let's just pretend there's infinite stock and prices are as expected (and you actually need a card). Which would you buy? Go vote: -> https://twitter.com/Disney/status/1330377127573794816?s=20
https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforc...e-45730-game-ready-driver-feedback-thread-re/ The GeForce / NVIDIA forums. In addition to the above there's now also a listing for firmware updates resolving a 240 Hz issue on the Samsung Odyssey G9 Second post after the main release documentation tends to have a update of additional known issues. I tend to forget about it pretty often too. (I do like that NVIDIA keeps a updated issue tracker for these too.) Good to hear at least two are also already fixed just waiting on the new driver to be released before users can get these and other fixes and other updates.
Thank you very much Jonas! Oh, another thing: I just got a LG CX 65, using the nvidia drivers 457.09 and enabling gsync and hdr causes a continuous screen flashing from black to normal, the latest ones instead fixed this bug almost entirely (I was playing Legion earlier this day and the screen went black only once). I got to get a better hdmi cable (a 2.1 48Gbps certified), so that I can make sure it's not a tv firmware/driver related issue.
Just got my hands on this EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 XC3 Black+ water block and other ancillaries you can just ignore
Waterblock arrived today so will be installing it into my loop tomorrow but here's some pics of my Palit
Hi. anyone with a LG oled48cx there is a new firmware 03.11.30 which the tv updated itself to. Seems to have fixed stutter is was getting on some games with my 3090 and i guess 3080 too. especially with Vsync enabled
Great thanks! I had indeed some stuttering from time to time. edit: it didn't find anything for my 65 inches version. :/
what is the best free app to test the 3080? i used superposition and 3dmark spy, but they are not good to evaluate stablity of OC
