I'm so happy! Damn the game is smooooth! (7800GT OC) :speed: :dave:
    Loads superfast!

Anyone know any commands to make the game look even better? All my settings are maxed. But I dont like it when I see the texture diffrence in vehicles when I come closer to it than when I am far away. There must be commads to change this? CS: Soruce does. So I'm just wondering.

Better quality, no if you are already using the maximum quality settings.
It should be running more smoothly now though without hickups.

i suppose those texture switching distances could be set up, but i dont know where they can be found

maybe try and get some BF2 tweak guides, then do the exact opposite?

Have you got AF forced to 16x in nVidia control panel? "Betafield 2" normally doesn't use AF at all . Also set negatieve LOD to clamp and turn off any optimalizations. If you did that already then there is no way to get better IQ.

I think PunkBuster won't allow that.

I read that BF2's "Texture Filtering" on High means 4xaf. It looks so too. So force 16xaf from CP.

And you can get Ultra details, there was once a thread about it. I'm sure google will help you. And check www.tweakguides.com, the game might have a config file.

Ultra settings haven't been proven to effect anything other than what the settings say in the video options list. Once you have the settings maxed out just enjoy the game. See, sometimes its better to dream of having a supercar than actually own one and seeing it not crack up to what it promised to be... same with BF2 and spending loads of cash to get it right.
