I used this feature all the time to record 30 second clips, but after updating to the latest version of Windows it just doesn't work. Tried using custom shortcut keys but nothing. It just won't record.

Gamebar can only work on D3D12 applications or those that are being presentation optimized using FSO.
I think it was officially called Xbox game bar but no matter now. GFE is way better quality and uploads to youtube at 60fps.
Umm, Yes. The gamebar is presented via a compositor layer and cannot load into an FSE application that has had FSO disabled. https://devblogs.microsoft.com/directx/demystifying-full-screen-optimizations/
I know, I know, You're one of those folk that argue with the people who actually implemented the feature to their face and not only when its quoted to you by someone else. But the internets not about you, and nobody is going to let you be right just because you believe you are on a public forum where someones going to search and find this thread via google and get misinformed otherwise. Use the ignore feature ffs, that way you can remain in your oblivious bubble without having to read correct and factual information. You're not my target audience.
Well thanks for insulting me on whatever level you wanna call it or whatever the frack you just said. I'm not gonna block you though, I don't believe in cancel culture. I'm not your target audience? lmao! Excuse me while I play this very small violin.
