    so both .dat and lua files arent even used by the game and are in the binaries?

    What do you mean by demos?the scripted areas used for E3 2012/13 ? If so please upload them or at least explain how did you find those.

    But i couldn't even unpack the damn thing ,im stuck on step 1 ,the unpacker tool just auto-close.
    Tell me what you saw you have me dying D=

    just unpack patch.dat and then unpack common.dat and windy_city.dat

    i didn't understand what you mean by this, but you have to drag the files to the unpacker without removing them from the native folder

    Do we have to compile it again to make the changes work?

    Also, if possible. Could you explain me (if necessary) HOW I can compile the .lua file? I'm completely new to the modding "zone", I changed some values in the "camerashakecontroller.lua" and the changes aren't applying to the game. I also packed the common.dat and common.fat again. Replaced it with the originals (did a backup of course) and tested it. Not working. I want to completely remove the camera shaking (especially for trains). Now I think, that I have to compile the .lua again, but didn't found anywhere how to.
