I'm trying to play multiplayer internet for the first time. All the downloads are soo slow. Is that a one time thing? And how do I read the ping rates for better gameplay? Any other information would be appreciated thanks.
What kind of internet connection are you using???<br> Did you set up UT correctly for your connection speed in the settings menu???<br> <br> Downloading (new skins/maps) is only once. If new game maps/models etc are added then download will occur.
Cable, I'll check the settings menu but if I remember correctly I did set cable.<br> Any advice on gameplay would be nice. I toasted the game except the last guy. Unreal Tournament's a legendary game. Here's just a quick tip (you may know it already). If you tap your left/right strafe key twice you do a quick jump sideways. If you double-tap the walk forward/backward key, you leap forward/back. <br> <br> It should show you the ping times for each server in the server browser in the game (the screen that displays all servers).
