Im getting my GTX 480 back from Evga and want to reinstall my AC Accelero Xtreme Plus with the Vr004 kit. I cant find the thermal adhesive for the heatsinks that come in the VR004 kit. I tried ordering another Vr004 kit but it wont work on AC's site and seems to be discontinued. What could i use in place of the adhesive?

VR004 kit http://www.arctic.ac/en/p/accessories/117/vr004.html And also this G-1 Thermal Glue, to stick the Heatsinks to the VRAM http://www.arctic.ac/en/p/cooling/discontinued-products/thermal-compound/381/g-1.html I wouldn't recommend the "Arctic Silver Alumina AATA-5G Thermal Adhesive" because that would permanently glue the Heatsinks to the VRAM. The "G-1 Thermal Glue" turns in to the same material as thermal pads when dry so it can be easily removed.
Cant order the VR004 kit anymore from artics site i tried and the G-1 thermal glue cant order. There is no price a listed and its a discontinued product damn.
Stupid me i should of noticed that, you could use the "Arctic Silver Alumina AATA-5G Thermal Adhesive" that "Phil Monster suggest" but like i said it would be pernament. Thanks for the replys i might just leave the AC cooler off. If i have to RMA the 480 again i'll never get the Arctic silver adhesive off and the thermal pads got pretty bad reviews. I might get the Zalman VF3000F not to sure if i want to invest any money into the 480 at this point.
the arctic silver stuff aint permanent, if you just put enough for them to stay on. sure if you cover the whole ram chips you wont get it off, but what i did is just put a dot in the middle, and when it needs to come off just twist the ram sink.
