They're applying for funding from what looks like the polish government. I'd imagine they could survive with a "no", but CDPR brings a lot of money to poland and the witcher as a series is considered a national export. If a farm gets subsidies, why not them I guess.
Yeah we have similar grants here for videogames and movies. I guess you could call it culture investment.
Looks good but different shades in different regions also impact geralt and other stuff wich i find odd, its like going from an orange geralt to a blue geralt.
"...which may indicate we’re looking at play between consoles." ..... Do NOT like the sound of that. If they are simply making the emphasis that this new game will indeed be out on consoles (which would obviously be to the country's benefit), than fine. But we all know what tends to happen when triple A games, consoles, and a lack of necessary funds collide...
So I was going to start finishing blood and wine today, but I decided to update first (1.22>1.31) and it totally tanked my performance. I went from a steady 60fps at 1080p to 20-40fps. I wish you could roll back a patch, this really sucks... I don't know what to do.
Just finished Blood and wine (masterpiece) on 1.31 with the same GPU on highest settings apart from hair I think. Mostly 60 FPS all the time on 1440P. Something is wrong on your side pal.
So I figured out my problem. My GPU is stuck at 405mhz, for all games. Ugh this is turning into a nightmare.
I love mods, but it's so DAMN annoying that the modders dont keep their mods up to date with game updates *Sigh*
The mod community for W3 isn't exactly thriving so I think many modders just abandon their mods when they're done playing.
Getting a swirly, almost artifacting kind of distortion around UI elements on the map and along the edges of the map. I don't recall seeing this before. Anyone know what's up with this and how to fix it? Turning off overclock doesn't seem to affect it. No problems in other games at the moment. I tried it out on my monitor at 1080p and it doesn't do the swirly thing but it does have the faded darkening at the top and bottom of the map. So it does this swirly thing on my TV and not my monitor. TV is on HDMI and monitor is on display port. I don't understand why this is happening.
