    My desk as it currently sits. Thinking of picking up a more visually pleasing case, this one's about 5 years old. Hiding away a 8700k and RTX 2080 inside

    With furmark 53 degrees after 60 minutes

    In Battlefield V, all ultra settings except RTX at medium at 1440p, 50 to 51 degrees Celsius
    I get higher temps (54, 55) between scenes loading in Battlefield 1 in multiplayer, which shows how crappy that game was done.

    Fair enough I have the same card and block, with a 360mm rad just for the gpu. Mine peakes at 40-41c after hours and hours evenr with the noctuas on low.

    In the manual it says its universal but most f the people i spoke to- ( builders and a few from ek, Even a dude from alphacool ) Recommended using teh left side as intlet to go straight onto the core and through the fins, part of the new design.

    but obvious if the temps are fine for you then its no issue at all, I was just curious.

    Aha.....
    Well seeing I run both my CPU and GPU in the same loop, maybe my temps will be higher. The inlet, outlet situation you mentioned is rather interesting though. May look into it, albeit it will lead to a bit of an aesthetic nightmare on my part.

    @darrenj

    Yours temperatures are not bad for single radiator setup and GPU and CPU in same loop, done just recently build for my friend where we are used 8086k with 5.2GHz with Bykski CPU WB with 1.375v and Bykski RTX 2080Ti WB and single GTS360 radiator, Phanteks EVOLV ATX case etc and temperatures are around 42-45°C in gaming,highest GPU temperature what I have seen on his build has been 47°C in 25°C ambient temperature

    Better fans or radiator can help with temperatures but how much hard to say, inlet or outlet on EK or most GPU blocks doesn't matter,done few tests on my EK GPUs blocks to test if temperatures would drop or they raise, but in my case this didn't make difference or if has been only marginal, IN or OUT port on some or most CPU blocks will make difference there, that's my view

    @Party Poison

    You shouldn't compare yours setup as you are have single 360mm radiator for GPU alone and he is cooling CPU and GPU in single loop, his temperatures will be higher plus ambient temperatures etc

    I have 4*GPUs in single loop and other cards GTX1080Ti, GTX 1080 and GTX1080 are within 1-2°C from each other on load (36-38°C) only RTX 2080Ti is running at higher temperatures 38-42°C, in gaming temperatures are not bad 36-38°C as max

    But back to IN and OUT on GPUs WB, on EK GPU blocks this doesn't matter or shouldn't make big difference, on other hand on Alphacool or Phanteks and other GPUs blocks this makes difference as they have dedicated IN and OUT port, on most CPU blocks this does make difference and I would follow recommendations of block manual etc

    I done few tests on my loop and my blocks, made once mistake on friend loop where we are used Phanteks Glacier block where I switched IN and OUT ports and temperatures has been higher by good 6-8°C, tried that same on Bykski N-RTX2080TI-X and temperatures has been higher by good 5°C, this has been just quick test for friend curiosity

    Hope this helps

    Thanks, Jura
