Well, Lisa Su did mention a lot of times how the cards would be "on the shelves" at the end of the month.

A Swedish webshop has listed for about 2700 SEK which is about 286,82 euro.

    I hope they sell well.

    very nice photo's.
somehow i am a fan of this empirical method of presenting the stockpiles :nerd:

they have hundreds of 480x... and that's only 2 brands...

too bad my 270x cfx is still on top of so many things. :nerd:
including they equal single RX480 performance.
    but vega... for sure.

Wait for custom PCB (1x8 pin would be enough) if you want add more than a couple of MHz. Last time I commit the error of over-clock a reference card, it died in 3 years of service (6950@6970 flashed bios, frequencies, +20% power... It burned in a hot summer.. it smelled like popcorn :( )

did it run on 100% fan speed?

once i almost forgot to switch my fan curve back to custom after i did a test... it would have meant battlefield 4 non-fps locked with 20% fanspeed....

well maybe it would have crashed or shut down before anyways. i will never know

fan speed was setted to auto. It did not reach very high temperatures, probably it was simply to stressed. 100% was too loud on a HD 6900 xD

    8GB version with a 5960X.

Results reported to be under what a 290 can do.

I think your prediction is... stock for stock, it trades blows with the 970, overclocked the 970 wins easy. 480 wins in dx12.

Pretty much. Though I have a feeling that it will not be faster in every DX12 game. *cough* Tomb Raider *cough*

That's a ****ty Twitter war right there. I don't know what people expect from this card. I also can't see why the guy in the video who believes that this card doesn't matter, has a valid opinion about anything.

Overhyping through ****ty websites doesn't mean that the product itself doesn't do what it is supposed to.

Didn't that Polish magazine leak show it to be faster than the 970 on 3DMark, and it was even a Zotac AMP! Omega model. That would make a stock 480 as fast as a 980/Nano. That's without the possible advantage in DX12.

By the way, the most important slides from that Videocardz link (if true), are these:

It seems that they have really worked on efficiency, I'm curious about a really deep down architectural review, but Anandtech hasn't even done Pascal yet :/
