BIG NOTE: Images in post are fake.

    DDWorld: DD Strach confirmed it.
:) And there is another thing. Particle Simulation has for some reason VSync and rendering fps clocked to refresh rate.

So running test with screen on 60Hz mode delivers bit lower result than running it on 144Hz mode.

That's probably why, and it's entirely understandable, but the bitterness is definetly there.

As for others saying it's not like that?
They are clearly not spending much time reading up on the opinions from both sides, either that or they part of the toxic groups but have yet to realise that.

I'm not sure why this is even a topic in this thread, some are hyping the RX480, while others are downplaying it.

Nothing so far has been particularly toxic from anyone, and if anything it's been tame for a speculation thread.

Here is a positive for ya.I sold the last of my 980Ti cards a few weeks ago so I can buy the RX480.(BTW I can buy 2 RX480's)

Also canceled my GTX1080 order and I am not buying the GTX1070.

Maybe I am a hypocrite, but this time I am not buying Nvidia crapppppppp.

    RX480 all the way.
Why because I used both sides and AMD drivers and stability are better all around than Nvidia.

Nvidia is a terrible brand for consumers.Period.

    Lol, is that the topic?

Not one should ever hype a product for free, that's the job of marketing guys who makes millions.

These days with the Internet, i suppose the job of those millionaires is to convince the poor person to do their job for them.

LOL their editor is a raving AMD fan, but complains at AT that situation in CZ is pretty bad because

having to take **** from his own readers for hyping RX 480: :wanker:

so it probably was not you who wrote articles on the World to DD that I read ... otherwise this is your statement does not make sense ...
Until recently wrote this ... you'll be amazed at how little difference compared to 1070 is 2.5x more expensive " performance in sight in 1070, "
How are we to take the word of oversight? GTX 1070 gives the Witcher nearly 90 fps at high / ultra without hairworks, giving the RX 480 at 60 high / ultra without hairworks ...
30 fps difference is in sight?

Kepler fix driver means nvidia knew this all along, the commotion was way to high to ignore, like they mostly do, this was so obvious that is spread like fire all over the web, but as of now the 700 series has been neglected and the more compute heavy games lean towards AMD, i think anyone who bought kepler should have bought hawaii, but then again AMD took their time too.

As of now, if RX480 gonna give 980 performance with good oc at around 250$ at most, they gonna grab many many users, as very few people buy 1070 or 1080.

    I've got new Leak !

    BF4 FHD Ultra 4xMSAA
    Test bench: Core i7-6700K @ 4,6 GHz/DDR4 16 GB 2666 MHz/SSD Samsung

    Radeon 480 OC +70MHz - ~75 fps
    Radeon Nano OC + 100MHz - ~85 fps

Now we wait for Hillbert review :flip2:

So if we OC non-reference design to ~1500-1580MHz we have Fury-X performance?
I know this Leak is 98% Valid (they testing this baby now).
