In an announcement on Steam the system requirements for Sid Meier's Civilization VI have been shared. The strategy sequel is highly anticipated for release next month, and here's word on what sort ... Sid Meier's Civilization VI Specifications
System requirements have gone up quite a bit since Civilization V. My sad AMD E450 won't be able to handle this one for sure :hit:
Finally a real CPU req. This is an IPC difference needed for CPU heavy game. "Intel Core i5 2.5 Ghz or AMD FX8350 4.0"
One of the few games i´m going to buy at release. I just hope my CPU can handle the final stages of the game...
I just can't stand these graphics. This game is so good and they gonna ruin it with some ugly facebook game graphic style. :bang:
It won't have Denuvo? I've heard that it's going to be another AMD/Firaxis collaboration for DX12 and that it will support DX12 multiadapter. If it is anything like Beyond Earth's Mantle multiadapter, it will be awesome.
This sounds interesting. APU+GPU to unload CPU tasks to both GPUs... that would be nice. I wonder if some of the AI can be offloaded to the GPU in an OpenCL style.
I much prefer the graphics in this game, V looked like it was trying to be realistic but from the perspective of someone who only ever sees **** from very far away and missing 40% of the visible colour spectrum.
Just hoping the multithreading and turn computations late game are better What am I saying, we ask that question every new civ game.
And yet i 100% guarantee my AMD FX 4100 @ 4.2Ghz will do just fine, might even go to stock and see that there will be no difference.
