Review: ASUS GeForce RTX 3060 STRIX Gaming OC

ASUS, which outs their ROG GeForce RTX 3060 STRIX Gaming OC, with 12GB, 3584 shading processors activated and a boost clock of 1882 MHz the card has been tweaked extensively straight out of the box for you.

I think nVidia got all wrong with the 30 Series naming...

This should have been the RTX 3050/ti, the 3060Ti should've been the 3070 and the 3070 should've been the 3080.

The 3080 could be the 3080Ti and the 3090 the RTX 30 Titan, or something...

Looking at the numbers it would make much more sense. The 3060 is too close to the 2060 Super, and definitely not worthy of an upgrade from that card.

This is a + $190 price at Newegg today. At $519 it does not merit a Top Pick award imo.

190$ is unrealistic considering the die size is 276mm and the added complexity of rt and tensor cores but at anything over 250-300$ its insane the gtx 1060 at 200mm was around 220-250$ and the 1080 was 314mm at 500-550$ so realistically this should sit some where in between and yes i know i'm over simplifying this but anyway you look at it if its over 300$ usd its way too expensive still.

The cheapest ones were $329 yesterday, this model was $190 over that at $519.
