Doom wasn't working for me on Windows insider builds. Would stop responding at 99% at loading menu. But after I install the Vulcan sdk. Doom started working.

Full SDK is probably a bit much but the later runtime installer versions might have some improvements.

AMD is still including 1.0.37.0 in their driver, above is 1.0.42.0 from the previous SDK although I just checked and it seems there's a 1.0.42.1 runtime in the newest SDK released about a week back.

Is anyone running CEMU with this drivers with a polaris gpu (specifically an rx 470)? I've tried them and the performance under opengl is still a let down. Do you think it will be fixable by the emulator? or AMD is the only party who can provide a fix for this?

The last 3 drivers gave me system freezes (due driver crashing) when using Monitoring software. It's definitly related. If not using any monitoring tool the drivers work fine.

Is DX12 ok with this driver and GCN 1.0/1.1?

DOOM is being a PITA. A minute into running the campaign causes screen pixelation, and the driver goes east to Newark, NJ. :) Cleaned everything out, including VK runtimes, and reinstalled driver and VK 1.0.40.1. Still happens. (Card running at stock)

Fun part is that I don't know if it's 17.3.2, or the new card.

EDIT: Happening in DA:I as well. Going to check the power connections, and if it continues, then my refurb is a dud.

EDIT 2: Redid my power connects, I have 3 of them so I rotated them around, and every combo it still pixellates when on full load, even if I overvolt the card. Time to bitch at Athlon.

EDIT 3: Card is not ramping up fan speed quick enough. Able to fix pixellating by manually upping fan speed to about 40%. Original card DID NOT HAVE THIS ISSUE. Still going to try and replace it, hopefully for a RX480 8GB.

These drivers give me artifacts and micro-freezes in Forza Horizon 3.

I had no issues and tried couple of games. Last one of them being new experimental dx12 api in Heroes & Generals, works fine.

Still freesync stuttering in games. Back to 17.1.2. Don't even need to do a clean install. Don't even need to do a restart either. Stuttering is gone.

    3DMark gives me inconsistent results.

What about Time Spy? Im seeing 10% increase since they re-enabled async for gcn1.0.

Mines pretty consistent, within margin of error:

    http://www.3dmark.com/compare/fs/12032585/fs/12032651/fs/12032813#
    All same driver version (17.3.2).

    It's the drop from ~72fps to ~68fps, and ~62fps to ~57fps.
Being this drop, consistent between all tests; with gpu and memory at same speeds.

    http://www.3dmark.com/compare/fs/12033875/fs/12033499/fs/11856302/fs/11854326

Now, since even rolling back driver it's the same, it should be something else that changed in my system (windows updates and/or 3dmark sysinfo).

    -- edit --
    Strike 3DMark SystemInfo, not that.

StarCraft II is definitely better, Dragon Age Inquisition, Dying Light and CEMU also. These are the ones I have actually played lately. The differences are quite massive btw. That's since 17.3.1.

Tested both 17.3.1 and 17.3.2, got issues with the latest patch of BF1.
Launching latest version of BF1 in DX12 mode + fullscreen = crash in the menus.
Launching latest version of BF1 in DX12 mode + Windowed or Borderless = crash while loading a map.

    DX11 is working fine.

DX11 so that I can use Vsync from RadeonPro.
