Wait, AMD announced, that Fury cards will be brought only by Sapphire and Asus, didn't they?

Why 4GB when this new tech allows more?

Rumour has it is will be PCPartner(Sapphire) that will be providing TUL with their boards. No big surprise there all the Fury X were done by them as well. They have been AMD/ATI's top AIB forever. ATI/AMD Branded cards have always been Sapphire

    Production cost.

For the moment, it's still a bit costly for AMD and partners to pack more into one card, even when the standard allows it.

Wonder when these cards will actually be available in the UK? Haven't seen a Fury X in stock anywhere, and places like OcUK & Scan don't even have the Fury listed.

EDIT - Ignore this, Scan has the Sapphire Fury for £443

One of my locals has got the Asus and Sapphire FXs in stock, im tempted to call in and see what the situation is with the pump issue, if they'll happily refund/exchange for it, as im tempted to try a one.

Ive already got a Sapphire on pre-order elsewhere, which is due around the 31st, but im expecting that date to just come and go with no sign tbh.
