Why is it every time the drivers jump so far somebody automatically thinks that all games problems will be fixed? Theres no guaranteed BFBC2 will be fixed , I would even go as far to say that theres not a chance of it happening if it has'nt happened by now.

The GTX595 being a revised GTX590...They should be replacing the cards for free not fixing thier own mess and rebrading it for higher profits...nvidia makes me sick as of late=/

I should be able to trade in my GTX 480 for a GTX 580 too :)

The GTX480 just had a short life cycle (1 year) before the successor came. The case with the GTX590 is different.

They have poor VRM which causes them to burn up...that's a design flaw and should be replaced for all customers that own a GTX590 and not rebrand it as the GTX595 or whatever and sell it like a brand new card...

The GTX590 doesn't have a poor VRM, its people that overvolt them having bad eyes which can't read the guidelines given by nvidia.

Seems like Hilbert is one of the few reviewers that knows how to read and not push things beyond their limits, except if there is some liquid nitrogen involved in a review.

A year? Make that just over SEVEN months... GTX 480 released 26th March 2010 and GTX 580 released 9th November of the same year!

that's 5 per gpu when a default 580gtx has 6, says it all no?

Ok, yes its ok if you dont OC or maybe just a little (20-40mhz), but then again the inner gpu heats up like hell unless you put them @ h2o, just like 6990 that's loud as hell again unless you put them @ h2o, so both fail [IMG] heheh

I kinda doubt this 595 will do much and what its a 7 months to late 590 v2.. But at least it should be able to keep up with decent voltage/frequency instead of blowing up. And its probably just a sorry excuse for 28nm Kepler delay until Q1-Q2 2012, while AMD releases SI7000 at end 2011.

Truth is, unless you play at insane resolutions, one gtx580 is plenty for all games to come.
Even Crysis 2 Dx11 can be maxed with one gtx580 at 1080p and give plenty fps to play.

no photo. Believe it or not ;) nvidia also equipped dice with new drivers (for gtx 595) for better performance on bf3.

Wouldn't be surprised if it was deliberately put on there, then removed to do nothing more than generate publicity.
