Nvidia Geforce 416.81 WHQL - Download & Discussion

These are a bit faster then the previous 416.64 on my 1070, at least according to passmark 3d scores. Never scored this high before, for whatever that's worth.

Hopefully that translates into real games, we'll see, but a good first impression at least.

 

Still trying to find out what verisons the flicker in game with witcher 3 started in? 411.63 I still using

 

416.34

 

so i should be fine then I have yet to isntall w3 due to just isntall w2 to play and I hate changes drivers now

 

Still no "RTX ON" in BF V or Any Games.

 

Has anyone tried this driver with Shadow of the Tomb Raider?
Does it still occur DXGI_ERROR?
Unfortunately my 2080Ti is in RMA

Hey Aquiles, have you tried these? I've seen one post saying the issue is not fixed.

I just installed them and I confirm that this issue is NOT fixed.
Back to the 416.16, which are the only 416.xx drivers (WDDM 2.5) that don't have that issue.

Btw i just played 2 hours of R6 Siege and everything is fine and smooth!
DSR for me is fixed too!

EDIT: No DXGI errors so far while playing SOTTR! The game is running smoothly!

 

So far so good, although that's something the last driver improved upon, too.
I can go long stretches with no errors, but specific water sections (usually after falling/diving from a great height) can be problem spots. There's one spot in particular, right after the rotating door puzzle, that crashes for me almost every time.

Still, the game became stable enough where I was able to complete it. I'd say I probably had 20'ish crashes in total, and luckily the game autosaves a lot.

 

BF V runs like a dream with these.

My only concern is Quake champions, any other game runs fine. Ran fine with any 41x.xx so far.. only this QC crashed to desktop, 399.24 is fine atm..

Well since I'm a driver geek I will try them soon, probably xD

 

DSR in The Wicher 3 is working for my system vs the hotfix 416.64 , good job Nvidia.

 

Driver works fine, but I wish they'd fix GFE Freestyle deleting user presets after OS reboot/shutdown.

 

Erm, just noticed my OC dropped from 2000mhz @1,025v with these, to 1936 @1,036v with the same OC profile as before (I'm using curve)?

How is that even possible, will test on the previous driver.

Deleted the driver, cleaned with DDU, installed 416.64, clocks are back to normal.

DSR was a problem since drivers, so how can you say that it's good job? lol
