With 177.35 and Physx it's not greyed out. Difference in the infs?

For Graw2 you can mod the settings under your profile

    Change <has_physx value="false" /> to true

    Set <physics value="0" /> to 1 or 2.

In options it's then selected. Differences are a bit subtle though?????

Remember guys, this is the first driver with PhysX enabled. It will propably take some time for the drivers to mature well enough to give us some advantage in real life games. Also propably the game developers need time to patch their games so the PhysX is properly utilized with Geforce cards. So dont have such high expectations in this early stage, it will work better later when drivers get better and better! Promize to that, but Im buying a ATI 4850 for my HTPC so my 8800GT will not be able to use PhysX anyway, but atleast I have my 8800GTX on my other machine. But maybe im wrong, maybe PhysX will never work well on nvidia cards?? If not, then so what. Most games use still use Havok, so maybe it isnt such a loss?? :) BTW, the new gfx drivers (177.39) are great. I got 800pts more in 3dmark06 on my htpc, from 12196 to 12984 something? This is great score for a silent htpc system! :) E8400&8800GT.

lol true, i did a test now it worked but sooooo slow, and it didn't look so stunning to me, lol i few rocks more on the ground and they stutter like hell. I tested both levels, i liked tornado more but there is not much physx going on i thought it would be allot more...

and this physX driver isn't compatible with G80 yet...

I'm just wondering if it will be possible to use second GeForce card with non-SLI motherboards (like with CrossFireX capable boards) for GPU physics. You could buy some cheap card for doing physics, that would be quite nice.

Have modded the inf, and waiting until I get home to give these a try.

Just want to state a few things to the people with the silly complaints & queries.

This driver set 177.39 is not released by nvidia - stop complaining about it, its a beta driver for testing purposes.

The nvidia PhysX driver for GeForce is also beta, and only supports G92 & GT200 based boards - so stop complaining that your G80/G94 card doesnt work.

In fact, I find it bloomin' fantastic that we've got these drivers & software at all. And they seem to work great (even though they are NOT official, NOT supported, and NOT released yet)

Just think, you can now officially laugh at everyone who bought an Ageia PhysX card!!! lol
