NTFS Disable Last Access Update File Time Stamp Windows 10 April 1803 Update

    So I tried both values - "1" and "3" - with the command "fsutil behavior set DisableLastAccess" at my work rig with Win10 1809. Both values were ignored and last access time was always updated with the modification of the test file.

    I'm ok with this behavior. I just want to reduce metadata writes I/O while opening files for reading only + windows search

    I suspect there are a bunch of caches between actions in OS and physical drive. I am not worried/bothered.
