Why doesn't LG use their (5120 x 2160) 5k panels'? That way at the same size it would have a higher PPi then regular 4k, instead of a lower PPi? 11 million pixels spread out on a 21:9 display, instead of 5 million!

I expect a 5k monitor to be announced by CES, or by June next year!

Sorry, I had to vote this story as bad simply because to purports that gamers want aaaaaaaaanother 24" monitor :puke: Lel, no! I want a 32 inch curved monitor without all that ips craptola. Give me 32 inch curved, single digit input lag, display port, no speakers, 144hz at 4k. Sold to the big knob that hates being told 24in is for him. Come on viewsonic, you know what I want now and I know you can deliever.

Amen to this. Large format 4K monitor for gaming - yes please! On a side note, I wish they would hurry up and finalize DisplayPort 1.3. :3eyes:
