lol, i meant the lighting, there were parts that was pretty incredible, but its not working right since you move 2 blocks and it looks psychodelic , you run a little more and it looks fantastic, and so on. Its going to take a while.

    Hey Kadz,

I tested v0.3 and it looks beautiful, daylight is STUNNING... but your new screens in the last page are incredible! My only complains were bright rain and timescale but I read you already fixed for next version... Thanks and keep up the good work!

Performance wise, your mod takes a hit, but is very smooth with high textures. Even with my 4GB VRAM GPU, I suffer horrible stuttering while driving using ultra textures.

So after my first test, I combined 0.3+BossDoF far camera+Maldo stuttering fix to use ultra textures without stuttering+RealVision SweetFX Profile. Thanks to Ithian for the instructions in page 86, now it's a dream :)

I can recommend you to use Temporal SMAA+FXAA through RadeonPro. It looks, performs better and takes less VRAM than MSAA. And of course by the love of the gods, force x16 anisotropic filter!

Sure, people can add the texture packs they want. Im not focusing on that yet, just changing to make visuals better.

Im going to release another tomorrow. Now i have to do another stuff.

Awesome! You don't happen to have patch.dat .fat files with your merged far camera etc would you? Please?

If not no prob, good work anyways.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!! It looks so much better than the vanilla game at night, in the rain, with the contrast turned up.

Oh, hang on. Nah, it doesn't.

Jesus Christ. Emperors new clothes yet again!!

    ^^someone here needs an exorcist!

hey Solobuddy, i got that from the shadows... i try that, something else is happenning with the game sometimes...and i cant point my finger on it .. .
sometimes i just need to hit the esc key and fps estabelize ..
    wird stuff...

Also.. the vids with the fps info is to help out get more data to use in a formal complaint against ubicrap and nvidia that im about to do here in my country with a official consumer protection association.
    im kinda angry becouse..
I got a new GTX770 with the game to play nicely and .. we know the story how it goes...

    What about more CPU RAM?

Hi, i am now worried about performance and how to improve it, i was wondering if my 8 GB DDR3 1600 Mhz is not all the best in games like WD, i could raise my RAM to 16 GB but not sure how much improvement will i make out of it.

    My Rig right now:

    i7 3820 Mhz
GTX 680 Super Clocked 2 GB VRAM
Corsair 8 GB RAM DDR 3
    PSU: 750W Corsair
    MOBO: Gigabyte X79-UP4

Configured to make it PCIex 3.0 and not 2.0 despite my CPU

Didn't mean you specifically dude, no worries. I meant the 'general collective' yous.
It's exactly like the old threads from weeks ago. Selective shots at night, in the rain.
People, fill your boots on this snake oil.

when the mod is all finished with high resolution textures and all that, do you think you can turn it into an installer with some mixable presets? something like this. (nothing too flashy)

It'll probably help users who are unfamiliar with text and .ini editing.

Sorry, I think I'm not allowed to share my combo since Kadaitz asked to not upload his files anywhere.

Anyway I think is really worth to do the job by yourself since is easy and quick, so...

Instructions to combine Kadaitz 5.0 beta .3+Maldo stutter fix+BossDoF far camera

    You will need:

    a) latest packer/unpacker tool http://svn.gib.me/builds/disrupt/?C=M;O=D
    b) TheWorse+Maldo 0.8 mod: http://www.guru3d.com/files_details/watch_dogs_theworse_mod_8_download.html
    c) Kadaitz 5.0 beta 0.3 mod: http://www63.zippyshare.com/v/3029445/file.html

    1. Extract packer/unpacker tool to c:\example\ or whatever
    2. Copy kadaitz patch.fat/dat files inside c:\example\bin\ folder
    3. Open a command prompt window and use this command to unpack:
Gibbed.Disrupt.Unpack.exe patch.fat kadaitz/ - this will create "c:\example\bin\kadaitz\" folder with a lot of subfolders and files inside.
    5. For the DoF, replace kadaitz\generated\databases\generic\cameracontext.lib with the one from TheWorse+Maldo mod which is in WDT_Data\Mod_Base\generated\databases\generic\ .
    6. For the Maldo stutter fix, carefully copy everything from TheWorse+Maldo mod \WDT_Data\Mod_Selection\Textures_Version\graphics\ to c:\example\bin\kadaitz\graphics WITHOUT OVERWRITING EXISTING FILES.
    7. In the command prompt window use this command to pack again:
Gibbed.Disrupt.Pack.exe patch.fat kadaitz/ - this will take a while and will overwrite existing patch.fat/dat inside bin folder.
    8. Copy these two files to \Watch_DOGS\data_bin64\ as always
    9. Remember to follow Kadaitz readme instructions and set ingame textures to high since with Maldo fix, high is ultra and medium is high :)

Is it normal that Watch Dogs maxed out doesn't take more than 2Gb of RAM ?

I'm not talking video memory but RAM. Watch dogs never cross 2Gb ? do i need to change something to allow him to take more?

    Thanks
