Shame is that these new Xeaons does not support PCIe 4.0.. And also feature support of models is strange, it is almost imposible to get some reasonable combination and only a few procesors supports these DL features:
Optane is a great technology. It has hugely better endurance and I/O speed than NAND flash. I plan to get a 905P for my future build (zen3?). No reason why it should be killed off.
For my purposes, I am far more likely to choose systems with dual EPYCs and as many cores as we need/want. The 7F52 looks like a great unit with of 256MB of L3 cache.
if it suits your needs it is cool, to say the true i fail to see the difference, generally i just see the price vs nand, i didn't knew that you could use the benefits from Optane on AMD systems, i should read a little more about it.
