Yes, they give it for free before, also AC III, Unity, Blackflag and Brotherhood.

Epic freebees seem to activate at 11am EST.

Grabbed it, although I still remember playing and finishing it on PS3.

 

I think i got this with my GTX 580 back in the day on DVD, never bothered to play it.
