Personally, productivity. I have a wired numpad to the left of my keyboard so I don't have to lift my right hand from the mouse or awkwardly reach across the keyboard to punch in numbers on the 10keypad. I'm a Cad monkey so my entire day is clicking, keyboard shortcuts (mostly shift or ctrl) and punching in numbers
Thanks for a real valid and understandable reason. Before reading your post I couldn't think of any valid response besides left handed people probably want to type in numbers like I (right handed) usually do. Thanks for enlighting me.
Since the first TKL I've got a decade ago, I never looked back. I guess there a few people out there that "made a mistake" of buying TKL kbd, but they've always had this kind of option, which is imho better than having a full kbd. I'd just look at products from actual global market leaders, not glorious and their dust magnets.
