    man cut the crap ok..
read the whole thing and u will see that u are totaly wrong..u have a what? hmm, amd chipset i guess...so no p45 or whatever..so why the hell you are even talking..u cant have these issues...now read again and see what happens...
and by the way, if u would read u would see i postet a link to gigabyte where they confirmed it. just use google translate. And now, again count the ones with amd and chipsets newer then X48, rule them out then think again..u see?

    here Translatet only for u:

From the Moderator of Gigabyte (is in Contact with gigabyte taiwan and they also know)

    quote:
I've looked around in other forums and like the looks of it, other brands affected by the GTX460 and the user most have a P45 board regardless of manufacturer ...
    so no pure gigabyte problem.

there must be repair probably by nvidia, bios whether or driver side ...
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
damn i hate when people dont read propperly...

    ok, now back on track...

    thx @ G*addict

With myself the spikes don't start until I try to do something else with my pc, like opening an explorer window or control panel while the DPC Latency checker is running. Just typing this message has started it off...

As long as I don't interact with the computer I get no spikes.

whats the problem then? if your not doing anything then these spikes you are seeing wont be interfereing with your workflow..this is just like cryin over spilt milk

if the spikes where happening when you where in the middle of somethin then you'd have something to complain about..

SIMPLE FIX...run some small app in the background that stops the spikes!

..ok rant over...ever thought this could be caused by CPU downclocking or something, it maybe that the CPU is downclockin or going into a halt state or something to save power as youre only seening the spikes when its idle

LOL, you make a good point. Personally when I invest a couple hundred dollars into something I want it to work 100% correctly, but maybe that's just me.

    +1

its about quality...if i pay 200 bucks i want a perfekt product..and also in case u dont know..dpc lateny issue can cause an instable system..maybe u wanna read a lil bit before stating something like this..wikipedia or google could be a good start for u^^

and yes, i have a few sound clitches because of this..

the point is Nvidia knows about it now and is working on it, so we have a better product...
