That was bad, starting with clueless Roy and finishing with awful Hart! Why Bring smokey Wilshere?! Sterling?! Kane?! Sturridge? This is what happens when you pick your favourite players over players in form. Spurs bottlered end fo the season, Rose and maybe Alli played alright, rest shouldnt have played Only Vardy tried to get every single ball, Rashford came on and dribbled pass defenders. As much as its players fault i blame Roy for being old fashioned, boring, scared and picking his favourites. Iceland tho! I hope they do all the way! What a passion from the team.

Yeah have to agree here as it stands. It's so obvious to see how Italy picked the right squad even there are a few not so well knowns like Giacherrini and Parolo.... But they were picked to fit a formation and a system. If Pelle gets injured though you have to say Italy will lose an important cog in the wheel as he is linking up play brilliantly. Bit underated as he can score goals but is also intelligent. I think that's what Italy and Germany have right now. Intelligence backed up with skill and formations where they know what they are doing down to a T. I go with Germany because I think they shade it in the flair/match winner category. i.e Draxler and Muller but could be a good final. You hope.
Worth noting a stat from game last night. Ferdinand nailed it last night, England played all qualifying matches with two wingers. At the actual tournament only one was taken on the plane :bang:
Roy messed up with the squad by taking few players that shouldnt have been there, he had no clue about his starting 11. His tactic were crap, because there were none! Kane taking corners and free kicks?! I remember he took a free kick and rooney went for the header in the box against Iceland! honestly wtf, why?! I hope next coach isnt afraid of dropping names, doesnt have favourites and picks players on form. Hope its not Southgate. Perhaps someone from abroad? German? Yes we need someone like Eddie Jones who doesn't give a **** about names and egos. I don't care if England don't win, I just want to see a team performance. I can't believe what I'm watching! Wales are majestic! I wish I was Welsh tonight. Great great great. They had a bit of luck, Belgium missed some really good chances and should have had a man sent off and a penalty but still, such heart and I just want to congratulate them. Well done Wales!!! PS: The only niggle in this game is the referee, I'm so fed up with refs who are afraid to give big decisions. Weakling.
