You weren't the only one, trust me. BTW, I think he did what I tried when I had my GTS the first week I had it. I used RivaTuner to try and see if it worked or not, just for sh!@# and giggles. I was kinda confused/excited at first only because RivaTuner then read my card as having 128sp and 24 ROP. GPUz on the other hand reported the GTS with its proper 96sp and 20 ROP. And of course it DID NOT performe like it had 128sp and 24 ROPs, thus nothing was 'unlocked'.

guy needs 1.6volts for a cpu clock of 2.62 he claims he can unlock shaders on his g80 8800gts 640mb to the full 128. start from the begining of the thread and :wanker::wanker::wanker::wanker:

you CANT unlock shaders. Those options in RivaTuner do nothing you complete FOOL!

And theyre called SHADERS, not sharders. Man, you fail, badly.

The first benchmark with "normal shaders" has the CPU at 3.1GHz, the second benchmark with "modded shaders" has the CPU at 3.4GHz...

I never trust benchmark results when things aren't consistent. And we all know that overclocking the CPU will artificially increase 3dMark scores...

EDIT: And FYI, 1024x768 is not the default 3dMark 06 resolution. This further complicates gaining and knowledge from these benchmark scores...

Here is the Flash that is linked from the site:
    http://w14.easy-share.com/9087911.html

I looked at it, all it shows is enabling two disabled stream units and one raster unit: RivaTuner\Target Adapter-Customize\Low Level System Settings-NVStrap Driver\Graphics Processor Configuration-Custom.
