I am a big engineer fan, not sure whether its worth unlocking the last carbine on COOP, I heard its very good. I am not a fan of many other guns thus far for the engi, my favorite will have to be M4A1, I dont think anything comes close to it, however its rather weak in this game, reminds me of SMGs in BFBC2, but this is a ****ing assault rifle ! Hopefully some of the guns will get tweaked in the upcoming patch.

 

Anyone know how to get rid of the blur?
I disabled FXAA and even set my res to 2048x1536, but the picture is still blurry, mostly on maps like Caspian Border...

 

There's no way to get rid of both jaggies and blur in this game, the engine can't do it simply.
The best compromise seems to be the tweaked FXAA inject with sharpening filter enabled. The picture is pretty sharp and some edges are being treated, everything further away is still jaggy as hell though.

 

^Why is it so blurry? MSAA is supposed to make things look sharper, not softer...

 

As i said, if i want to start pad, then i could do it easily. The clan server is for clan practice and flying school. I still cant get the jets, i dont have the reflexes. but havent played on our clan server again. I want to learn but there is no way to do it without being destroyed in the first few seconds.

 

Don't get a ranked clan server. Problem solved.

It's Nvidia-based but, as it works in game, I'm sure there's some ATI equivalent you could try.

 

^Oh that one...yeah it works for ATI as well...

 

the option under the msaa option should disable it dude. it even says it softens the picture when you put the cursor on it.

 

Deferred rendering. It has its advantages, but traditional AA breaks under its model.

I have a buddy who had a bf3 server up,been packed last few weeks,then for a week now nobody at all playing on it.We cant figure it out,only thing i can think of is now that ping is showing that people ping might of been to high and have moved to other servers.Just kinda weird.

 

just finished the single player campaign, thought it was pretty awesome

also surprised at how well it ran on my system with a gtx560 ti, played it maxed out @1920x1200 res with only shadow turned down to high and msaa off

 

I've noticed that most of the servers I saved in my favourites now show no one playing in them at all. Would be interesting to find out the cause.

 

Yes, FXAA makes it blurry. Use the custom FXAA injector.

 

i was just on and i only saw a few servers? wonder whats up ...
