As I wrote before I can not add support without hardware.

Ray Adams: so between April and September 2009 you didn't buy 4770?

And are you going to buy it anytime soon? Or should I buy myself a new (better, less noisy) cooler?

Just wanted to confirm something about the Steam overlay problem.

In beta .1433, steam overlay works in all games and shortcuts.
In .1464, overlay does not work in 1) cs source, 2) crysis non-steam shortcut through steam 3) lots of other games.

    HOWEVER:
It DOES still work in Morrowind non-steam shortcut through steam.
Worth noting that Morrowind is a directX 8 game...although i was using the morrowind graphics extender, though....

Went back to .1433, overlay works fine again in everything. Not sure if this helps or doesn't help (hides....)

Hi Ray, just installed ATT and it's working fine with HD 5770 in CrossfireX.

I've disabled OSD support due to some random crashes and figured out that automatic profiles Direct3D Tweaks' option "Change Adapter Identification (Direct3D9 only)" don't work with OSD disabled. Is it a problem here on it's supposed to work that way?

    Hi there,
maybe something is moving in Valve Software, Steam's Devs.
Now I was noticed of a new update of the platform and changelog say this:
    Good news no? :D

I know there are a method to add an app (not games only) opening the main Steam's UI, clicking 'Games' and selecting 'Add game not in Steam list...'
Doing this is possible to add ATT in the Steam's app list, launching this Steam may tag the app as secure or suitable...
I cannot try this now due to my system issues, can anyone try this? :nerd:

Hi Ray, is there any way to tell if this utility will work with a Sapphire 4860 being the beta version? I have had no success with Riva tuner and this card is using an RV790 chip. I was just curious if you knew if it would work or not. Thanks!

Ok then, I do much like ATI tray tools. More tuneable than CCC and I like the interface. I will let you know my results as support for 3rd party utilities on this card are coming up thin.
    Thanks!

    Hi Ray!

First of all ATT is great much more complete and customizable than CCC. But there is something missing: the AVIVO settings for video quality enhancement.

Without CCC the only way to change them is by DXVA Checker using the advanced option. This way is a bit complicated, is possible to add a slider option like these (1) (2) for Color Vibrance, Flesh Tone Correction, Video Gamma, Edge Enhancement and De-Noise? Also is possible to add a video split preview of the changes as in the CCC panel? It will be great and a big addition especially on HTPC video management.

    Thanks.

I'm not trying to replace CCC. Not possible for me though. I already removed TV OUt/Display module because of lack of information. Same I can say about Avivio. ATI likes to change their thinks very fast :) So I just unable to support all their changes

This useful only for XP and old X1xxx boards. No needs for 2xxx/3xxx/4xxx/5xxx

ATT is a pretty awesome software, I'm especially fond of the way I can tie overclock profiles and voltages to certain executables. Here's how I use my videocard depending on the games the amount of power they need.
So ATI made a pretty monstrous chip that can pull 640 mhz at 0.95 volt! And I've tried to take the voltage lower, to something unrealistic like 0.7 volt. But GPU-Z still reports a VDDC of 0.95v, so I guess it isn't working beyond 0.95.

So I wanted to ask, is this 0.95 limit a hardware limitation? Or bios limitation? Or a catalyst limitation? Or an ATT limitation?

It would be awesome if I could optimize profile 4 and profile 5 and especially idle mode with lower voltage. Regardless ATT has been awesome so far, thanks for any clues you can give.
