    I'm going to try rflair's 8.76 first. It's still installing.

    Why to release 10.7 beta in the morning when 10.7 WHQL will be released in the evening?

    I figured that it was because it (probably) won't be released...

    I express uninstalled previous drivers, restarted and then installed these as I usually do:

    [IMG]

    It says 10.5 ?

    The WHQL version will most probably NOT include the new OpenGL ES 2.0. That's the purpose of last-minute betas.

    The higher 2d clocks with Overdrive isn't an bug, but a workaround made by ATi to fix some problems with multi display configurations.

    Hmmm looks like it doesn't show the right version in ccc...
    It shows sometimes the 10.5 and sometimes the 10.6...

    I could imagine it is "just" the 10.6 with OpenGL ES 2.0 support...

    Just shows 10.5 for me (same as my earlier screenshot). I have to say, tried a few games (alien swarm, bc2) and things didn't feel any better than 10.5a...

    driver versions for beta ones are usually the previous one you had installed. Because they dont include any real version, so it shows the one you had it before.

    I checked this beta:
    Code:
    DriverVer=07/18/2010, 8.753.2.0000
    Not sure about the WHQL but this Beta seems old enough. I think the WHQL will be around the same date.
