NVIDIA aren't releasing a new flagship/Fury X competitor until Pascal next year (unless they rehash the Titan X again but not likely).
Have some faith in the hardware. Fiji looks promising so far. It needs to prove itself with 4GB HBM VRAM and overclocking ability.

Just saw Fury X appearing at Newegg.ca. But it is out of stock and price is not listed.

    http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202155

I did however dig deep into the html source for the page and found the list price to be 799 (CDN). I think this is the cheapest it will be for a while and will only get more expensive.

980 Ti on the other hand ranges from 809 - 899 CDN.

    Am I ready?
    YES! I'm ready.

Hopefully I can see some competition that force nvidia to lower their prices so I can purchase single 980/Ti or SLI cheaper.

My main concern with the Fury/AMD is NOT performance, but PROPER driver support.
This include 0day driver releases with at the very least AAA rated titles.
Without a proper drivers even the best hardware is worth ZERO.

This is one of many reasons why I'm not looking into AMD direction.

Poor overclocking or they didn't really try. We'll have to see. But overall I think it will fit exactly where we expect it to, given how ridiculously high you can clock Maxwell.

hahaha .. :D I am still trying to load page 1 with all the pictures, that site is getting hammered badly. Will wait for Hilberts proper review , but looks like I will be going with the 980Ti this round , let's see what Hilbert tell us about this card. ** Not looking good :/ for Fury X **

    Can't wait for the reviews.

Question, This card is very soon to be released and yet people are downing the card because of the 4gb limit while in the meantime, win 10 is around the corner and speaking about win 10, aint the fury X capable of doing:

    stacking vram??

    Should be no problems right?

Another thing going around is that the card really has 6gb of vram or something like that due to color compression technique that amd is using?

The game would have to support DX12 for a start. You'd have to run Windows 10 too. The game would have to support VRAM stacking.

2 out 3 will be at least a couple more years at the earliest from happening.

Im first patiently waiting on the review,980ti wont be an option for me. If it does come to that point where i wont be able to use my monitors full potential due to lack of dual link dvi. Ill stick to my 2x 290x and wait for the second round of fury X's maybe then they will get it right. I love my sammy 950d it might be old but i dont see a monitor that fancies my eye yet.
