Now that schools, workplaces and other things are closing down around the world - does it make you have to work from home? If so, how do you feel about that?
I switched from train to car for commute, so somewhat lower risk to get infected. I am horrible at managing myself, so I prefer working at work place. My wife been working from home for past the week, so she doesn't have to ride packed trains. I much prefer her working from home, rather than taking trains and risking getting infected.
I fix stuff, no way I can work from home as a repair tech. Only way is to get the stuff in my house, fix it and then return it to workplace. But at home I don't have all the equipment needed.
Not yet "forced" to work from home, but rumors have it we're supposed to do home office starting on monday.
Schools closing from Monday here in Andalucía province. Heck, Tuesday was scheduled the last German examen for passing A1. But there are more serious issues at stake than getting certified for German language. About work, I really don't know.
Not me so far, even though it would make little difference for my desk job. Others in my family have been, though.
Not yet forced to, but likely starting next week. Not looking forward to it as I ditched a traditional PC setup for a HTPC one. Going from a desk, chair and two screens to a sofa and a large TV isn't going to be anywhere near as productive.
Some brain dead political figure here in Spain told us to stay and work from home. Some quick-witted baker asked. Quick question :Would you like to home delivery the bread I will make from staying at home? And at home I don't have making bread equipment. How many people are unable to work from home is astounding. Rise of the machines at global levels in 3.2.1 years...? Now we pray that Spanish summer and overall heat to come in full swing.
German Navy gave green light on home office from next week on. Has never been done before, so this IS a big deal. I will start shopping for my parents and cancelled meetings in my friends circle for the next weeks. Since i cant get tested (too many requests atm) i decided to act like i'd have it and just haven't noticed anything yet. This is all about my parents, not me. Better safe than sorry
Bus Driver Simulator 2020 "Es tut gut, sogar besser als erwartet und prognostiziert, die Sau rauszulassen und die verabreichten Treibmittel über Triebwagen in Gebieten mit negativer Ökobilanz zu verteilen." Translate that and A1 - 99 is done. (Good luck with your exam!)
Not yet but employer has eg. restricted holding meetings and forbidden travel abroad. All factory visits have been cancelled. Recommend staying at home for a week if any symptoms appear on you or family members. Schools are beginning to close in my area so guess soon some work restrictions will apply. Not that I mind and precautions are smart but at this rate we'll soon have another recession...
No corona reported cases till date in my country...but there's flooding going around....on my little island... (Tropical depression - Cyclone) - everybody@home
Nope. Nobody around here in the real world is that worried about it. Everything is still in full swing.
