I have two sapphire radeon 7970's and no problems with 2D or 3D. I did complete driver wipeout before installing.

With the 295X2 launching April 8th, what are the chances we get this month driver release with it?

That's something different now, this time, the April release, is WHQL so I expect Mantle to fully working, it was promised for ALL GCN GPUs regardless if mobility or desktop, but it only works on desktop GPUs now... moreover, it isn't really working with a HD 7000 Series card.

Or not because on my 7950 i can a see a big dif to DX -> Mantle
    Average DX 60-70 ( sutter a bit )
    Average mantle 75-90 ( and 0 stutter 100% smooth )

Same for Star Swarm and Thief . Working for me with 14.2 or 14.3 same perf ( driver clean with DDU )

So if mantle looks like it's working on y r9-280x then if WHQL comes then it should work even better. If so this is going to be awesome.

Mantle is working quite well my AMD Radeon HD7970M CrossfireX cards in my Alienware M18X-R2, thus it does work with mobility cards. And the drivers installed fine without having to mod them either.
I guess I'm lucky I have a laptop that has a manual switch between discrete and Intel graphics compared to that AMD dynamic switchable graphics mess that only seems to cause problems.

I reinstalled these drivers again. Oops. BF4 update + 14.3 getting low frames and running terrible. Ran these drivers through DX...

BF4 all ultra NO AA, 120% res scale, HDAO AA post high. Locked at 60.

Doesn't skip a beat. So until AMD supports 7xxx series, DX is working fine for me now :).

Don't know what people are getting excited for the WHQLs of these for

They'll be an older build and still have exactly the same bugs, if not more than the latest betas

13.11 beta 9.4 was older from 13.12 whql. So this statement is actually not truth.

Wow. Very first bluescreen since August of last year, that bluescreen being the only other bluescreen I'd had since I installed Windows 8 in early 2013. That last BSOD was due to the AMD driver, and as I recall it was 100% a driver issue that several other users also encountered, solved by installing the next beta. This BSOD was also the AMD driver crashing (atikmdag.sys).

No other sign of instabilities in my build; I often keep my PC on for a week or longer at a time without a single undue message in Event Viewer, or any other sign of instability. All components individually stress tested to at least 24 hours, some to 48 hours. There are also evidently lots and lots of users with instability on the 14.xx drivers (with quite a number of BSOD reports). I think I can say with some confidence that the driver has stability issues, corroborated by many other users' reports.

have anyone tried RenderDevice.FramePacingMethod 1 on bf4 to see if it's better. is this only for crossfire systems? I will test this anyway.

I think its already enabled by default and maybe only for crossfire but not sure...thats the reason i disabled it manually in my cfg as it doesnt seems to do anything in single card and dont want to add more stuff involved running in the game...anyway it seems to do nothing as i have said in sigle card but not sure...

Btw...all of you guys running mantle fine without any cfg and single card...whats your vram usage??...im running mantle fine since cfg but my vram still going up to 2900+ many times (other times is hovering to 2700)...
