    I think it's best to be patient and take it out when everything correctly. Better to wait a little longer.

    I was under the impression that the texture pack was optional?

    I was told we could use the config tool with 0.8v, and the texture pack would be optional.

    I think this is going to make the mod useless for about half the people, if true.

    If you only could upload more version more often, even if its small change. then people would tell you problems and ideas, aAAaan we all would be very happy with new version all the time. ^^

    What i mean to say is: more WIPS for us :)

    The texture pack IS the Maldo fix. What do I do if I don't want the texture pack!??

    As many people here, I am mainly waiting for TheWorse's work (but I love Maldo's too, especially if he improved his pack). Ultra textures are not my main issue since I deal with in-game loadings thanks to my SSD.

    We can't reproach them wanting to give us an epic version. So I will wait. It will probably become a standard for Watch Dogs PC.

    Just one question : Are these textures already compressed ? If not, it would be a great idea to compress them as "Texture Optimizer" make for Skyrim :

    Normals : RGB888 => RGB565
    Textures : (A)RGB888xxx => DXT5
    DXT3=>DXT1
    DXT5 without alpha => DXT1

    Lighter files load faster and the quality loss is (nearly, depends of eyes) not noticeable (in 1080p, I don't see the difference).
    Removing Mipmaps (it's noticeable in game) could then be avoided if these optimizations were possible.

    Can we have some clarification on the texture pack please? Is it optional or mandatory?

    I think it needs a clarification. Ultra textures for roads, signs, Aiden, etc are optional. But if someone wants to activate it, the tool will say there are missing files if TheWorse uploads the tool without the textures.

    So, everybody can pick TheWorse files directly withou problems, but if someone wants a tool to configure every option, every file is needed.

    Ulta texture option implies the user will select High textures in game options. This way, High preset will include a bath of ultra textures for most important ones like roads, readable signs, vegetation, rocks, etc. The mix can fit in. 2gb gpu without problems.
